GPP ATHLETE:

Strength
Conditioning

Come put your strength, endurance, speed, flexibility and skill to the test! The GPP athlete can do it all. Lunge, squat, hinge, push, pull, you name it. But can you do all these moves controlled, with load and under extreme amounts of stress? Fix muscular imbalances and build structural balance. General Physical Preparedness (GPP) training never gets easier, you only get stronger.

STRENGTH:

Conditioning

Tackle challenging loads at your highest movement quality. Focused on developing your maximal strength capacities, this class will slow down the flow and give you time to focus on form and technique, all while getting that good heavy strength sweat going. Movement specific warm-ups, heavy loads, and loud music. Get ready to throw some weight around!

STRENGTH: PERFORMANCE

Want MORE strength and skill coaching? This class is solely dedicated to mastering technique and getting you stronger! Designed to improve your form, body awareness and control around major lifts and compound movements, STRENGTH: PERFORMANCE serves as a complement to our regular STRENGTH training day. The instruction is intimate and our coaches are hyper-focused on developing your highest movement proficiency.

BEGINNERS can expect to develop skill and competency. Coaches make sure you feel confident and comfortable while moving!

ADVANCED athletes will be coached to the next level! Coaches provide you with proper loading strategies for maximal strength development.

ESD (CONDITIONING):

Build your work potential and push yourself to your VO2 max. With the focus on developing all three of your body's energy systems, ESD classes will prepare you for short power + strength intervals, long endurance work and everything in between. Come build an engine capable of doing anything you are willing to work for!

FLEXX FRIDAY:

Friday's are meant for 2 things: fun and training. Finish the week with some of the dirtiest sweatouts! Like your favorite Friday playlist, this class combines all of your trainers' most loved moves. Get ready to all out FLEXX on this day as you head into the weekend stronger than ever.

The best of you, the best of us, the only place you'll want to be on Saturday mornings! You will experience the ultimate meaning of what it means to just show up and work hard. No sugar coating it, this class is tough. Expect partner and team work. ETHOS ELEMENT is about the community; good vibes & high fives. #SAFTC.

KINSTRETCH®:

KINSTRETCH® is the first of its kind mobility class to be introduced to the group fitness world. Think if yoga and physical therapy had a baby. KINSTRETCH® focuses on developing your body’s ability to move through all positions on the training floor with control and without pain or fear of injury.

KINSTRETCH® & Strength:

Looking to increase your strength and achieve a smoother, pain-free lift? KINSTRETCH® + STRENGTH increases your body's STRENGTH CAPACITY = your body's ability to lift more and get stronger!

This class is designed to improve your active ranges of motion while simultaneously building you strength in these newly established ranges. Expect to spend 20-30 minutes expanding our end range movement using Controlled Articular Rotations (CARS) and positional isometrics (PAILS/RAILS). Then we work 20-30 minutes of strength work specifically designed to strengthen these newly created ranges. Example training areas: deep squat, pressing, pulling.

KINSTRETCH® is the highest level group mobility training currently available.

  • Designed by the world renowned Functional Anatomy Seminars, all of the movements and training techniques have been selected based on a meticulous and rigorous investigation of evidence, conducted by physical conditioning and medical experts, as it pertains to body control, injury prevention, joint health, and physical longevity.

  • KINSTRETCH® practice is complete with a self-assessment system allowing you the ability to monitor your own body for dysfunction that may be causing pain, loss of performance, or that may be putting you at an increased chance of injury.

 
 

WHAT TO EXPECT AT YOUR FIRST KINSTRETCH CLASS?

  • EXPECT to develop a practice that is based on scientific research in mobility training.

  • EXPECT a variety of students in the class. KINSTRETCH® is not geared to a specific population; it is geared to humans in general. Expect a variety of ages, body types, athletes, teams, individuals with various occupations and fitness levels on a continuum.

  • EXPECT to be educated. KINSTRETCH® is meant to enhance your life and help you get better at whatever you want to get better at. The more you show up, the more familiar you will be become with the concepts. The more you implement this practice into your lifestyle, the more effective the training will be/the more results you will see.
